How do I sign up to sell?
Selling your items has never been easier! Just sign up here to be a consignor and we will guide you step by step what you need to do.
How much does it cost to be a consignor?
It is free to sign up as a consignor. Consignors make a 60% commission on all their items. If you volunteer you can make up to a 75% commission. In addition every consignor is charged a $8 fee, but it is deducted at the end of the sale from your earnings.
Your Total sales x 60% – $8 fee = Your Total Profit
How does The Switch Up differ from a garage sale or thrift store?
So much better! Prices are often much better at our sale and you don’t have to worry about the headache of a garage sale. Our sale directly helps local families, putting money in their pockets and helping them save on things they need.
Does its cost anything to shop?
No! Entrance is free. We encourage you to come both days since on Saturday most items will be 50% off. We will have plastic shopping bags but you might want to bring wagon, a stroller, or a large shopping bag to put your items in.
I don’t have time to tag my items. Can I just drop them off?
Yes. We know life is busy. If you don’t have time to price and tag your items you can donate them and we will add them to the sale. You still get a pre-sale pass to shop early and $10 credit to use at the sale! Click here to learn more about donating.
What happens to items that don’t sell?
When a consignor enters items into our online system they choose if they would like to pick up an item at the end of the sale or donate it. Unsold items will be available for pick up on Saturday. Anything not picked up by the seller will be donated.
